Special Purpose Caps and Closures

In addition to its wide range of caps, nozzles, and applicators for polyurethane products and silicones, Aluax Ltd. develops various purpose-designed closing devices to meet the diverse needs of its clients.

Cap for Can Bottom

This cap has been specifically developed to perform two key functions:

1. To securely and conveniently store the packaged disposable polyethylene gloves that must accompany chemical products containing MDI, in compliance with EU regulatory requirements.
2. To contribute to waste reduction by offering a significantly lower weight compared to standard polyurethane foam caps commonly available on the market, thus minimizing the environmental footprint.

Cap for MDI-Containing Sealants

This cap serves the same dual purpose as the Cap for Can Bottom but is designed to meet the requirements of silicone and sealant manufacturers whose products contain MDI. The disposable gloves are placed inside the cap, which is then fitted to the bottom of the cartridge containing the silicone product.

Cap Drehteller

This specially engineered cap also functions as an activator for specific two-component chemical systems. When rotated, the cap triggers a valve mechanism that initiates the mixing of the components, ensuring precise activation and controlled reaction.

CapAdapter for Gunfoam

This CapAdapter is foreseen to be used in the industrial production of canned gunfoam. It incorporates a screw adapter to which the gunfoam applicator is mounted and a small safety closure cap to cover the valve of the can during transportation.
